β¦ Synopsis
The present paper deals with a ruthenium(II) phthalocyanine, (tBu)4PcRu(py) 2 where (tBu)4Pc = tetra-(tert-butyl)phthalocyanine and py = pyridine. Its photophysical properties are studied at room temperature by steady-state and time-resolved electronic absorption and emission spectroscopy. The most important finding is that (tBu)4PcRu(py) 2 solutions show phosphorescence originating from a charge transfer state.

The present Letter deals with three ruthenium(I1) porphyrins: RuTBP(C0) (EtOH), RuTBP(pyzft and [RuTBP(pyz)],, where TBP=tetrakis( 3,5~i-tee-butyl-~hydroxyph~nyl) po~h~in, EtOH=ethanol and pyz=pyrazine. Their photophysical properties are studied by steady-state and time-resolved absorption and emis
