Regeneration of flower buds in thin tissue layers from pedicels of photoinduced short-day (SD) tobacco, Nicotiana tabacum L. cv. Maryland Mammoth, is described. Up to seven flower buds per explant were obtained in a medium containing Murashige and Skoog's macro- and microclements, 100 mg/l myoinosit
