Abstract

Analytical approaches based on theories of relativity and photons are presented. The relativistic approach does not permit the speed of propagation to become superluminal. The classical photon theory is limited to the TEM mode monochromatic CW electromagnetic waves only. The Maxwellian photonic approach permits the speed to become superluminal. ## Abstract The main aim of this paper is to show the suitability of the geometrical optics and uniform theory of diffraction (GO/UTD) approach for modelling microwave propagation in indoor environments. Implementation details for an efficient method based on a combination of image theory and the b
