Optical electron transfer in the mixed-valence cation of biferrocenylacetylene (BF+ ) has been examined in CDIC12 solvent. The intervalence absorption line shape is relatively narrow at both low and high chromophore concentrations, but broader at intermediate concentrations. The transition energy fo
