β¦ Synopsis
AJxtract A new intercalated compound Pb12(NH3)_, has been found, X-ray powder diffraction investigations, thermogravimetric examinations and spectral measurements of the diffuse reflectivity allowed this fact to be confirmed. The photolysis kinetics of PbI, under various NJ& pressures has been determined as well as the spectral and light exposure efficiency of the photolysis. The photolysis of the intercalated compound PbI,(C,H,NO)I has been investigated. The influence of the intercalated compound formation on the photolysis efficiency has been revealed.

The kinetics of PbI2 photolysis sensitized by para-substituted aniline were studied by reflectivity measurements. Photolysis and PbI2 intercalation are overlapping processes at aniline concentrations exceeding the intercalation threshold, leading to a ,iecrease in the efficiency of photolysis. Linea
