## Abstract Selfโ€organized InAs quantum dots (QDs), by the Stranskiโ€“Krastanow mode, have been grown by using lowโ€pressure metalorganic chemical vapor deposition on Vโ€groove GaAs substrates. By adjusting the flow rate of AsH~3~ during the growth of InAs QDs, a one dimensional InAs QD array was succe

The spin dynamics in self-organized InAs/GaAs quantum dots have been studied by time-resolved photoluminescence performed under strictly resonant excitation conditions. It is demonstrated that the carrier spins in these nanostructures are totally frozen on the scale of the exciton lifetime.
