✦ Synopsis
Unprotonated ammonia cluster ions, (NH3); and (NH&, were detected as well as (NH& in addition to normally observed protonated clusters tf?NH&-t by VUV photoionization mass spectroscopy using rare-gas resonance lamps [Ar. Kr) and a pulsed molecular-beam system. The results are discussed in relation to probable intra-cluster ion-molecule reactions.
