✦ Synopsis

Resonant photoemission from the (0 1 0) surfaces of CeNi single crystals has been observed around the Ni 3p and Ce 4d core electron excitation threshold. In addition to the two-peak profile in the overall aspect of the 4f spectrum, two additional features are resolved.
