Photoelectron spectra of tetramethyl stannane, Sn( CH&, have been recorded with photons in the energy range 2 l-70 eV using synchrotron radiation. The binding energies for the valence and Sn 4d orbitals have been measured. Branching ratios have been determined for ionization from different orbitals
