Patent 1 206 260 granted to A. P. Predrick. (Oct. 23, 1969) A wavelength selective light screen permitting the passage of blue-violet light, but not red light, comprises a thin perforated sheet sandwiched between strengthening sheets.

Beam splitter Patent 1 206 461 granted to Electric and Musical Industries Ltd. (Jan. 8, 1968) A coil of wire is placed between two prisms of a beam splitter. Cement is introduced between the prisms, but is prevented by the wire from clouding the optical path.
