The efficacy of photodynamic therapy (PDT) is mediated through a direct vascular effect. Interference with platelet function and resulting vascular stasis have been recently demonstrated utilizing the photosensitizer dihematoporphyrin ether (DHE). We examined the effect of aspirin, a known inhibito
