✦ Synopsis
An analysis of the primary photodissociation products resulting fro-m the 193 nm photolysis of HSCO is reported_ The major fngments are NH(a IA, u' = 0) and CO(X '~3. Reaction of NH(a 'A) with 02 and with HIiCO produces only nonemissive products. A rapid E-E, V energy transfer occurs for collisions with 0 2_ The time-resolved fluorescence rise of NH<X '_'-, J' = 0) resulting from NH(a *A) coltions sith 02 yields an energy transfer rate constant of 1.55 X 10-I' cm3 molecUe-5-l _
