## Abstract Results of SEM and XRD studies, optical absorption spectra and photoluminescence emission spectra are presented for the films of (Cd~0.95~โPb~0.05~)S:CdCl~2~, Gd/Dy prepared by chemical bath deposition technique and using thiophenol and methanol as capping agents. The deposition of film
Results of SEM, EDX and XRD studies, Optical Absorption spectra, Photoconductivity (PC) rise and decay, PC excitation spectra and Photoluminescence (PL) emission spectra are presented for (Cd-Zn)S:CdCl 2 , Tb films prepared by chemical deposition method on glass substrates either at room temperature
Nanocrystalline films of (Cd 0.7 -Zn 0.3 )S:CdCl 2 ,Gd are prepared by chemical deposition technique on microscopic glass substrates with varied concentrations of capping agents thiophenol and methanol. The deposition is based on the principle of precipitation followed by condensation. Results of XR
