## Abstract The synthesis of an oriented liquid‐crystalline photoresponsive polymer, prepared by polymerization of mono‐ and di‐acrylates, both of which contain azobenzene chromophores, is reported. The prepared free‐standing polymer film shows strong reversible photoinduced deformation upon exposu
