✦ Synopsis
We elucidated the temperature dependence of the D&ye-Wailer factor of tetrasodium 5,1&I ~,2~-t~t~(~bonat~ phen~l)p~~hy~~ and mesoporphyrin dispersed in palyvinylalcohof by measuring the temperature variation of the area of a zero-phonon hole burned at 78 K. In addition, we obtained the Huang-Rhys factor for both samples by assuming that onephonon approximation holds rigorously, We found that the Huang-Rhys factor, or equivalently the linear electron-phonon coupling in mesoporphyrin-doped polyvinylalcohol is extremely small. The reason of this weak coupling is discussed.
