✦ Synopsis
The feasibility of photocatalytic degradation of trace gaseous acetone and acetaldehyde using supported on Ðberglass cloth was studied. The TiO 2 results show that gaseous acetone and acetaldehyde can be completely photocatalytically degraded into and after 35 min illumination with a CO 2 H 2 O, 375 W medium pressure mercury lamp. The e †ects of parameters such as the Ñow of reactant gases and the concentrations of oxygen and water vapor in the feed stream on the photocatalytic degradation were studied.
supported on TiO 2 Ðberglass cloth was not easily detached. After 150 h illumination there was no signiÐcant loss of the photocatalytic activity of 1998 Society of Chemi-TiO 2
