Solid State Photolysis of Triazene 1-Oxides with Naphthols. Synthesis of Azo Dyes. -The photolabile triazene oxides (I) are irradiated by sunlight in the presence of Ξ±-and Ξ²-naphthols in the solid state to give the azo dyes (III) and (V), probably formed by diazonium radical species and naphthol.
## Abstract The oneβpot synthesis of some azo disperse dyes were carried by heating of aniline, sodium nitrite, potassium hydrogen sulfate with active methylene compounds under focused microwave heating in absence of the solvent. Also, by heating of diazoaminobenzene with active methylene in acetic
