We were able to show in two eases that the laxans triacetyldiphenylisatin (TDI) caused the development of a photoallergy. This side effect, which seems to occure very seldom, has been unknown. The photoallergy caused by TDI, is an effect of UV B. This is a contras~ 4o photoallergies caused by other substances.
