β¦ Synopsis
Photoacoustie Spectra of Complexes of Erbium (111) with Glycine and Alanine The crystals of the complexes Er (Gly)3C13 ' 3 HzO and Er (Ala)3C13 . 3 HzO were synthesized and the photoacoustic (PA) spectra in the 300-800 nm region are reported. Their PA and absorption spectra are interpreted. The PA relative intensities represented by intensity branching vectors and the perturbation of ligands on the energy levels of Er3+ ion are discussed. The fluorescene properties of Er(Gly)3Cl3 . 3 HzO and the relaxation process models were also studied based on the PA and absorption spectra.

## Abstract The wavelength range of the CD. spectra of some cyclohexapeptides containing different sequences of glycine, Lβ and Dβalanine is extended down to 170 nm. This allows a relatively complete recording of the (n β Ο\*) and (ΟΒ° β Ο\*) __Cotton__ effects. Some striking spectral changes are ob
