✦ Synopsis
The photoacoustic method has been used to study the thermal diffusivity or conductivity of electrodeposited Fe-Ni-P alloys. The thermal conductivity has been found to decrease with increasing phosphorus content in the alloys. This change has been associated with the formation of an amorphous structure in the alloys, as revealed by X-ray diffraction analysis.
