The effects of a tin maleate stabilizer and of typical processing lubricants (Wax E and calcium stearate) on the photo-oxidation of PVC have been examined. The latter are found to have a relatively minor effect but the tin maleate stabilizer introduces an induction period to photo-oxidation, related
