✦ Synopsis
We have all collected stamps and butterflies at one time and some of us still do. Some of us also collect matchboxes, beer tabs, postcards, Picassos, old records, guns, dolls (I mean real ones), masks, autographs, coins, oil tankers, beetles, fossils, awards, saxophones, owl ceramics, shrunken heads, antiques, antlers, or cuckoo clocks. Very few, however, have such an original hobby as Monsieur Ren6 Honegger in Ztirich. Monsieur Honegger, namely, collects mousetraps. Until now he has managed to collect several hundred of them from different countries and belonging to different historical periods. The journalist Karl Hofer visited him recently, took a few snapshots of the traps, and printed them in the Neue Ziircher Zeitung. Since I do not presume that all readers of Immunogenetics also read the Neue Ziircher Zeitung, I asked Mr. Hofer for permission to reprint some of his photos here.
