Nuclear matrix (NM), a proteinaceous network of filaments, dictates nuclear morphology and the structure/function of DNA. Phosphorylation of NM proteins is a potential signal for regulating matrix functions. Histones also are intimately involved in DNA structure and transcription. Here, we report th
