Luminescence properties of poly(viny1 alcohol) (PVA) films were investigated at room and low (103 K) temperatures. It was estimated that the PVA films can be regarded as lminescentless matrices when excited by radiation of wavelengths greater than 420 nm ( A, , 2 420 nm).
