## Abstract The phonon frequency distribution and the specific heat of α‐iron is determined using DE LAUNAY'S model. The unit cell of phase space is divided into 10 Γ— 10 Γ— 10 parts, the calculations being conifed to the first Brillouin‐Zone. A new method for evaluating specific heats at low tempera
