✦ Synopsis

Inelastic neutron scattering (INS) of La, \SrICuO , h (x = 0.0. 0. 1. (1.2. 0.3) at temperatures: 290 K, X0 K and 10 K are reported.

A magnetic excitation at about 6 meV has been detected in the INS spectra at 80 K and 10 K. This peculiarity varies with both temperature and strontium concentration, while other peculiarities seen in the generalized phonon density of states do not exhibit such a pronounced dependence.
