โฆ Synopsis
Pocket Microphone.--M. Trouvg has invented a cylindrical microphone, which resembles a small dark-lantern, with a carbon crayon substituted for the candle. When placed in the middle of a room, it reveals all secrets. It transmits the voice admirably to a receiving telephone, even when the speaker stands 25 metres (82 ft.) or mere from the microphone. When a watch is placed in the interior, it seems to be making unheard-of efforts to get out. The instrument can be easily used for revealing the normal or morbid movements of the heart or lungs.--Za Nature.
