โฆ Synopsis
Garth Gilmore and Cindy Bedford, two abused teenagers in Windhoek, Namibia, struggle to live normal lives while carrying their debilitating pasts.
Garth rejects the notion that he needs to change, resorts to gambling and crime and scorns emotions such as love and compassion. Cindy battles to come to terms with her past, trying to replace her anger with love and empathy.
Garth treats Cindy's love for him with indifference and her attempts to help him cost her dearly. She perseveres, believing that love will always triumph over apathy. She agrees to participate in Garth's criminal activities but the two are apprehended and detained until they reach the age where they can be sentenced.
Cindy continues to fight her affliction and it is only by a fortuitous acquaintance with a viciously abused old horse that Garth begins to come to terms with his past and becomes aware of his deep love for Cindy.
Sentencing looms though.
