Abstract

Undergraduate, graduate, and extended programs in philanthropic studies are one of the fastest‐growing academic fields in higher education. Most curricular models are located within nonprofit management education programs. The American Humanics, Inc. undergraduate model is of particular interest because of its link between a liberal arts education philosophy and professional preparation for careers in the nonprofit sector.
