✦ Synopsis

Andrew es un abogado prometedor que tiene todas las papeletas para añadir su apellido al bufete de abogados en el que trabaja. La firma le concede llevar un caso multimillonario como primer paso para su ascenso, sin embargo Andrew está en fase terminal... el sida está minando su salud. De pronto es despedido por cometer una imprudencia laboral y como sospecha que hay algo más que ese fallo, pide ayuda a un abogado negro llamado Joe Miller que se dedica a causas distintas, pero que es el único que accede a llevar a su caso. Miller detesta a los gays —pero también hay gente que detesta a los negros—. Miller acepta y termina sintiendo verdadero afecto por Andrew y su pareja, Miguel.
