## Abstract The synthesis of the four possible stereoisomers of 3,7‐dimethylnonadecane (1) has been achieved by starting from the enantiomers of methyl 3‐hydroxy‐2‐methylpropanoate (2) and (R)‐(+)‐citronellic acid (3).
