✦ Synopsis

Good agreement with the superconducting transition temperatures of low-and high-T, short coherence length superconductors is obtained with two sets of simple equations derived in terms of the density of states for quasi-two-dimensional materials. The accord with experiment holds for layered cuprate, heavy fermion, dichalcogenide, and layered organic superconductors over a wide range of high to low critical temperatures. A triplet state is predicted for UPt, and TaS, ( pyridine ) , ,2 as a best tit to the data.
