✦ Synopsis
The equations ofirreversible thermodynamics are applied to the isothermal-isobaric transport of isotopes in multicompunent electrolytic systems. The resulting flux-force relations can he written entirely in terms of conventional transport coefficients: transference numbers, electrical conductivity, diffusion coefficients of electroneutcal electrolytes and intra-dimusion coefficients. Some applications are discussed.
