## Abstract The authors present an improvement to a sigmaโfilter extrapolation method for the reconstruction of magnetic resonance (MR) images from symmetric discrete Fourier data. By making use of the phase information in the image data, the proposed method can overcome the data inconsistency prob

โฆ Synopsis
Abstract
Viewโtoโview phase shifts due to B0 instability are corrected by applying a phase correction to the lowโspatialโfrequency views. The algorithm described herein assumes that the signal intensity in the space outside of an object represents only noise. A set of phases for the lowโspatialโfrequency views are calculated by minimizing, in the image, the intensity of the induced artifacts in the space outside of the object.
