The surface morphology and elastic modulus of chitosan/gelatin hybrid polymer network (CS/GLN HPN) gels was investigated by in situ atomic force microscopy (AFM). The surface domains of hydrogel varied from irregular clumps to sponge-like patterns with increasing swelling time. The vertical height a

โฆ Synopsis
pH responsive chitosan/gelatin hybrid polymer network (HPN) microspheres were prepared via the inverse emulsion crosslinking method. Cimetidine release from the microspheres was studied. The drug only delivers in acidic medium, while the release rate can be controlled by the HPN composition and the degree of deacetylation.
