β¦ Synopsis
The effect of PFA, at up to 30% replacement, on the water absorption and air permeability properties of cover concrete to reinforcement is described. PFA concrete designed for 25 to 50N/ram 2 and cured under different conditions of relative humidity and temperature and tested at the age of 28 and 180 days is shown to give better resistance to fluid permeation properties than the corresponding series of OPC concrete.
