For free society to function we must have high-performing, self-governed institutions in every sector, not just in business but equally in the social sectors. Louis armstrong. Frank Lloyd Wright. Pablo Picasso. With each of these creators we have a "before" period and everything "after." Jazz would never be the same after armstrong. architecture reeled under the creative onslaught of Wright. the history of painting in the 20th century pivots around Picasso. So, too, we cannot imagine the field of management thinking without drucker.
