Volume 1 - Pertak is a world with three suns and four species of beings living and working together in apparent harmony, a world where Todd Sevick and his team of enforcement officers are doing their best to keep their world in balance, and a world where, inexplicably, Liz Paiste—a mere secretary second class—is injured and abducted. As Todd and his team seek to answer these questions, each answer leads to another mystery or another danger. Soon one of Todd’s officers is fighting for his life, and the team members are facing cutting-edge technology that blocks their efforts to investigate a growing list of crimes.
