"Periodicals" is a column devoted to appraising periodicals and is unique in having this assignment for Serials Review. Length of reviews are meant to reflect the relative importance of the periodical being examined and the evaluations are intended to be grounded in specifics and to provide the reader with a firm basis for making acquisition decisions. "Periodicals" attempts to review both gatherings of unrelated journals as well as magazines that share common interests.
