โœฆ Synopsis

Dynamic sealing

450 Synthetic Fibre Sheet is designed to handle low temperatures in general services. The gasket is a low temperature non-asbestos sheet material. suitable for general services to 390"F, 25 bar. It is recommended for use in water, gas, brine and steam applications, but not for chlorinated hydrocarbons, aromatic and ester ketones.

455 Aramid Fibre/Nitrile binder is a higher temperature, general purpose sheet gasket for use with water, salt solutions, organic alkali aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, alcohols, ester, oils and gases up to 575ยฐF.

Chesterton's 456 Glass-filled PTFE sheet incorporates proprietary materials to help deliver superior compressibility, recovery and sealability. The gasket minimises the inherent cold flow problems and creep characteristics of PTFE, working in services up to 1500 psi. It has been specifically designed to have better bolt load retention than conventional gasketing, improving long term sealability and reducing maintenance requirements.

457 Carbon Fibre/Nitrile Binder handles a wide variety of services to 840"F, and 459 Graphite Sheet with Nickel Reinforcement handles high heat to 1600ยฐF in a non-oxidizing atmosphere and pressures to 2000 psi.
