β¦ Synopsis
The nonlinear response of a high-temperature superconductor hairpin-comb filter in a perpendicular dc magnetic field was examined through measurement of its insertion loss and center frequency. The effect of the applied field on the insertion loss at low field regime is small, and increases gradually with respect to the field. A hysteretic effect as well as a linear relationship of the center frequency and the applied dc magnetic field were also obser¨ed.

Extremely low frequency (ELF, <300 Hz) magnetic fields (MF) have been reported to modulate cognitive performance in humans. However, little research exists with MF exposures comparable to the highest levels experienced in occupations like power line workers and industrial welders. This research aims
## Abstract Zhadin and Barnes [2005:26:323β330] concluded that they solved the differential equation describing combined action of DC and AC magnetic fields on thermal motion of ions in a biological macromolecule and, as a result, a diversity of biological phenomena could be explained. It is shown
