โฆ Synopsis
Abstract
Pentalogy of Cantrell is a rare thoracoโabdominal disruption with a variable association of abdominal wall, diaphragm, pericardium, sternum, and heart defects. Diagnosis is feasible on antenatal sonography. However, because prognosis depends on the extent of the defect, anatomic assessment is crucial for optimal parental counseling and decisionโmaking regarding the outcome of pregnancy. We report the use of 2โdimensional and 3โdimensional sonography in the diagnosis of pentalogy of Cantrell. ยฉ 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Clin Ultrasound, 2007
