Overview: During one of the worst storms in history, Emily Jacobs hears strange noises on the roof of her Manhattan apartment. At first she thinks it’s nothing more than the storm, but soon the noises begin to sound like something - someone- kicking the roof. Emily goes up to the roof and can hardly believe what she sees - a golden hoof, the body of a horse, a wing -- Pegasus! Pegasus is hurt, and it’s up to Emily to save him. Together with the Joel, the boy from her school who is always drawing Pegasus on his notebooks, the two repair Pegasus, but then they must get him back to Olympus. The two team up with Paelen, an Olympian thief fallen to earth to get Pegasus home, save Olympus from the Nirads, and outrun the government agency that is anxious to get their hands on Pegasus.
