โฆ Synopsis
BOOK REVIEWS 261 agement of HCC. The first chapter updates the current status of immunotargeting HCC in experimental models and the use of monoclonal or polyclonal antibodies against HCC-associated antigens in humans. The chapter on surgical management of HCC concisely addresses anatomic (the tumor) and clinical (the patient) considerations in the resection of benign and malignant tumors, including HCC. This review should enhance the knowledge of the consulting hepatologist regarding anatomic features related to the feasibility of resecting hepatic tumors.
Overall, the tradition of Progress in Liver Diseases is alive and well under the leadership of new editors in a leaner, timely and more frequent format.
