A data collection system for neutron scattering experiments based on the IBM XT compatible personal computer is presented. The system contains one crate CAMAC system and two "MULTI" interfaces; one interface controls the CAMAC system and the other organises direct fast data transfer via the DMA channeL The measuring program outlined in the paper is written in TURBO Pascal.
