β¦ Synopsis
Phx KNbs01 s ferroeleetric ceramics have been elaborated, h7 order to obtain the exact stoichiometric composition two processes were used: sintering either in open air with an excess of PbO or in a closed alumina vessel ht a PbO-rieh atmosphere. The two types q/" obtained ceramics show dielectric properties close to those of single crystals. Furthermore, the crystallographic and dielectric data indicate that the best chemical homogeneity has been obtained using the closed system. The high dielectric constant results /)'ore two contributions: a MHz-GHz relaxation of the intrinsic polarization and a low-[fequenc T dispers/on o/the ,sT~aee chal~e polarization.
