Pathways to Literature is a new approach to English teaching that aims to develop the English language through the medium of Literature. Its flexibility of approach makes it suitable for a variety of contexts, from specialist secondary school classes to college and university settings. It is suitable for students at B2+/C1 CEFR level.
Pathways to Literature consists of nineteen units, separated into Poetry (three units), Prose (eleven units), and Drama (five units).
The Teacher's Book contains a complete key to the exercises in the Student's Book, including preparation suggestions for each end-of-unit essay and the essay topics at the back of the book. There are audioscripts for all listening exercises as well as the complete scripts to the videos- In addition, there is guidance on how to approach an English Literature essay, and a key to the video activities and essay writing section at the back of the book.
