✦ Synopsis

We investigate k-colorings of the rational n-space, Q n , such that any two points at distance one get distinct colors. Two types of colorings are considered: patch colorings where the colors occupy open sets with parts of their boundary, and rigid colorings which uniquely extend from any open subset of Q n . We prove that the existence of a patch k-coloring of Q n implies the existence of a k-coloring of R n . We show that every 2-coloring of Q 2 or Q 3 , and every 4-coloring of Q 4 is rigid. We also construct a rigid 3-coloring of Q 2 .

N-Phenylmaleimide (PMI) was used as an acrylonitrile (AN) solution which is convenient to handle because PMI is an irritative solid and difficult to handle. However, the PMI solution tends to color during storage upon heating and its yellow color is apt to become brownish. Impurities contained in th

The sizes for the perceptible or acceptable color difference measured with instruments vary by factors such as instrument, material, and color-difference formula. To compensate for disagreement of the CIELAB color difference (⌬E\* ab ) with the human observer, the CIEDE2000 formula was developed. Ho

## Abstract Using the finite element method, a detailed study of the deformations and stresses produced in an elastic‐perfectly plastic half‐space indented by a rigid sphere was done. The analysis covers the transition region from the maximum elastic contact load to a state where this load has been
