The dynamic response of a single-degree-of-freedom elasto-plastic oscillator with kinematic hardening is analyzed in this paper under two kinds of periodic impulse forcing: (a) direct and (b) parametric. In the first case, impulses of constant amplitude are applied periodically to the system and the
