## Abstract A new attitude control strategy for rotational manoeuvre of an elastic spacecraft is presented. Adaptive sliding mode control with hybrid sliding surface (HSS) is used to minimize the effects of uncertainties, disturbances and the difficulties arising from measurement of flexible dynami
